A mother-of-four has become a millionaire after scooping what is claimed to be the world's largest bingo win.
Soraya Lowell, a 38-year-old cleaner from South Lanarkshire, Scotland, won just under £1.2m at the Club 3000 bingo hall in Coatbridge.
She won the National Bingo Game's platinum prize at the Sunday night session at the club.
Mrs Lowell said she would give half of her winnings to 68-year-old Agnes O'Neill, her neighbour and bingo companion.
The jackpot, which is played in nearly 500 clubs across Britain, is the biggest in the UK and it is thought to be the largest anywhere in the world, according to National Bingo Game bosses.
"It just won't sink in yet," said Mrs Lowell, who partied with friends and neighbours in Fairhill until 6am in the morning.
"I haven't slept at all but I will be back at work on Tuesday as usual. I clean offices until 1.30am and I don't intend to give up my job. I like the girls I work with, and they have already said to me don't pack it in."
Soraya Lowell: "I have three daughters and a son aged 13, 15, 19 and 21 to help me spend it."
Mrs Lowell said her husband Frankie did not believe her when she telephoned him to break the news of her amazing win.
"He handed the phone to our eldest daughter who heard the shouting in the background and said she is telling the truth," she added.
Mrs Lowell has been playing bingo since she was 18 and before that remembers going with her granny as a child.
"This is my first win ever at Club 3000," she said. "And it was worth waiting for. It feels quite good!
"I have three daughters and a son aged 13, 15, 19 and 21 to help me spend it.
"They have all put in wee orders already; the two oldest want convertibles and don't even have licences yet!"
Mrs Lowell's spectacular win surpasses that of Christine Bradfield, who scooped £1.1m at the Castle Club, Merthyr Tydfil, in January.
"This is our second millionaire in eight weeks," said Steve Baldwin, communications manager for the National Bingo Game.
"We aim to make more winners more often at bingo and love it when they are record breaking!
"We are thrilled for Soraya and look forward to presenting her with her record breaking cheque."
