Juicing - raise a glass to your health

7th March 2005

Feeling a bit under the weather? Sounds like you're in need of a good pick-me-up. Only this time, it isn't what the doctor ordered or prescribed but a highly nutritious tonic that will boost your immune system, cleanse your body and give your whole being

Juicing is one of the quickest and most delicious ways to put your health back on track.

It concentrates the nutrients found in fruits and veg, extracting them from fibre - a job usually undertaken by your digestive system.

You would have to eat carrier bags full of fruit and vegetables to get the same level of concentrated vitamins and nutrients in one glass.

For example, you would need to consume 1lb (500g) of raw celery to gain the same nutrients as one cup of its juice.

With these powerful potions you can combat common ailments like fatigue and the common cold - plus you can encourage your hair and nails to grow stronger as well as boosting your sex life! And best of all, you can sip away at your energy-lifting cocktails between meals without exceeding your allowance.

So just replace your morning coffee with one of these vitality boosting juice drinks each day and you'll soon see your energy levels soar and your skin glowing with health and vitality.
