Pirates still leads UK film chart

The third Pirates of the Caribbean movie has stayed top of the UK and Ireland box office for a second straight week.

At World's End, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, has generated £29.2m so far in the UK.

Romantic comedy Wedding Daze, featuring Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher, entered the UK chart at number two.

Action movie Spider-Man 3, a former UK chart-topper, slipped one spot to third. The film has now made £32.4m in five weeks in the UK.

Thriller Paradise Lost debuted at four, followed by Zodiac in fifth position.

The Hitcher, another new entry, took sixth place, while Bridge to Terabithia dropped two places to seventh.

28 Weeks Later, the sequel to zombie thriller 28 Days Later, came in eighth, followed by Mr Bean's Holiday at nine and Bollywood romantic comedy Cheeni Kum at ten.
