Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has topped the UK box office for a third week in a row.
The film took £2.8m over the weekend, taking its total UK earnings to £26m.
Based on the classic book by Roald Dahl, Johnny Depp plays Willy Wonka, a creepy chocolate pioneer who takes five children on a tour of his mythical operations.
The film also stars Freddie Highmore, David Kelly, Helena Bonham Carter, James Fox and Christopher Lee.
Ewan McGregor's action film The Island opened in second place with £1.4m.
Race relations drama Crash, featuring Matt Dillon and Sandra Bullock, entered the chart at three, followed by children's movies Herbie: Fully Loaded and Madagascar in fourth and fifth respectively.
