Porsche has unveiled the latest additions to its revised 911 range, in the shape of the Carrera 4 and 4S.
The 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S all-wheel-drive coupes from Porsche are the latest additions to the 911 model family.
The most striking feature of these new 911 models is that they are 44 millimeters wider over the rear arches. The rear wheels of the Carrera 4 can therefore be fitted with 295/35 ZR 18 tires, and its "bigger brother" with 305/30 ZR 19 tires.
Powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine, which has an output of 239kW (325bhp), the Carrera 4 accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph (280 km/h).
The 4S model, with a 3.8-liter engine developing 261kW (355bhp), can reach 62mph (100 km/h) in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph (288 km/h).
Both models feature a smart 4x4 system which sends 5-40% of the engine's output to the front wheels. This provides them with 'excellently balanced performance, up to and beyond the limits of adhesion.
On request, both models can also be fitted with sports suspension to lower the body 20 millimeters closer to the ground.
The 911 Carrera 4 will be priced at £62,930 and the 911 Carrera 4S at £69,900 and will be available in the UK from October 22.
