Brazilians are having more sex than any other nation on the planet, a new poll has revealed.

A survey of 12,500 people conducted by drugs firm Pfizer in 27 countries worldwide found that Brazilian citizens had sex an average of 94.8 times a year.

France came second in the sexual marathon with 92.4 times, followed by Turkey in third with 88.8 times a year.

People living in Hong Kong are the least likely to have sex, managing it just 42.6 times a year.

The global average was 77.76 times, according to the recent study.

The survey also asked people to rate their sexual satisfaction.

Mexican people said they found sex the most enjoyable, while South Korean residents enjoyed sex the least.

The Brazilians came second in that list, just ahead of the Spaniards, who ranked third.

Italy, a nation renowned for its sexual prowess, surprisingly finished second from bottom.
