Robin van Persie scored a spectacular winner as Arsenal came from behind to beat Inter Milan 2-1 and win the Emirates Cup.

The talented Dutchmen produced a moment of pure brilliance when he dragged the ball past Inter defender Danielle Pedrelliez and rifled a shot high into the roof of the net.

Arsenal had dominated the first hour of the match but went behind to a superb header from Inter's Honduras striker David Suazo on 62 minutes.

But the English giants responded well and levelled five minutes later through Belarusian international midfielder Alexander Hleb.

Arsenal held firm and secured a deserved 2-1 victory over the reigning Serie A champions.

Earlier in the afternoon, French side Paris Saint-Germain easily beat Spanish outfit Valenica 3-0.

Amara Diane, David Ngog and second-half substitute Peguy Luyindula were all on target for PSG.

Arsenal finished the tournament with 10 points from their two games, three points ahead of second-placed PSG. Valencia came third with five points, while Inter picked up just the one point as they ended bottom of the table.
