Manchester United have the largest fan base in British football, according to a new survey.
The Travelodge poll revealed that more than a fifth of all football fans support the current Premiership leaders.
Rafa Benitez's Liverpool came second, followed by Arsenal in third and Tottenham Hotspur in fourth.
Premiership trio Aston Villa, Chelsea and Bolton all made the top 10.
The survey of more than 1,000 people revealed that football fans spend, on average, over a £1,000 a year on supporting their team.
They will also travel around 1,500 miles every season to watch their favourite players in action.
More than 11 million of the British adult population class themselves as sports fans, with nearly 80 per cent specifically following football.
Manchester United, based at Old Trafford, are easily the most successful team in Premiership history, winning eight league titles under the guidance of Scottish manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The world famous club, formed as Newton Heath FC in 1878, have also won the FA Cup 11 times, the League Cup twice, the European Cup twice and the Cup Winners Cup once.
Current players include Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville, while famous stars from the past include George Best, Eric Cantona and Roy Keane.
