Cage Rage hosts strong lineup in Birmingham

26th March 2008

Cage Rage is to make a massive impact at Birmingham's NEC Arena in May this year.

The big Mixed Martial Arts fight night makes its debut in the second city on Saturday May 10.

Cage Rage 26, presented by EliteXC, is making a move from Wembley Arena to give Midlanders the chance to get a full blast of the action.

Promoter Andy Geer said "We wanted to give Midlanders the chance to get a close-up look at the action - without having to go down to London!"

Topping the bill at The NEC Arena is Ian 'The Machine' Freeman who is coming out of retirement and dropping a weight division to face Paul 'Boom Boom' Cahoon in a massive battle of the Light Heavyweights.

Mixed Martial Arts combines four Olympic combat disciplines and is the fastest growing spectator sport in the world, currently packing gyms across the country.

The last show, at a sold out Wembley, was beamed to tens of millions of TV viewers around the world.

Tickets for Cage Rage 26 at The NEC Arena on May 10 are on sale now priced from £10 - £100 with Premium tickets from £200 - £500, subject to a booking fee, and can be purchased from The Ticket Factory on 0871 945 6000 or online at www.theticketfactory.com.
