Actor Daniel Craig has been named the best-dressed man in Britain, by readers of GQ magazine.

The James Bond star topped GQ magazine's annual list of the most stylish celebrities.

Conservative leader David Cameron came second, with Clive Owen third, David Walliams fourth and Jude Law fifth.

Real Madrid footballer David Beckham finished sixth in the best-dressed survey.

Pete Doherty, Russell Brand, Tom Ford and Prince Harry rounded out the GQ magazine top 10.

Craig, 39, played the role of 007 in Casino Royale.

He has also appeared in Munich, Layer Cake, The Jacket, Infamous, Enduring Love and Hotel Splendide.

"No Bond since Sean Connery has worn it better," GQ magazine said in a statement.

"It works because the 007 uniform seems like an upgrade of what Craig would naturally wear."
