Kate Moss has been named the best-dressed woman of 2005 by British magazine Grazia.
The 31-year-old supermodel has endured a miserable year, losing a number of lucrative contracts amid claims of cocaine abuse.
But the poll by Grazia shows she has lost none of her appeal as a fashion icon.
Jane Bruton, the editor of the magazine, is quoted by Mirror.co.uk as saying: "Whatever trouble she's had in her private life Kate Moss remains the style icon of our times, with an incredible 34 per cent of the vote."
Actress Scarlett Johansson was second, followed by Layer Cake star Sienna Miller in third place.
Singer Gwen Stefani finished fourth and Australian actress Nicole Kidman was fifth.
Angelina Jolie, Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Aniston, Keira Knightley and Victoria Beckham completed the top 10.
