British supermodel Kate Moss is all set to write an autobiography, an American magazine has reported.

The 31-year-old fashion icon is said to have signed a $1.8m deal with Richard Branson's Virgin Books Group.

"Richard and Kate are working on a book together. It's a chance for her to put across her side of the story," a Virgin spokeswoman told People magazine.

Moss endured a miserable 2005, losing a number of lucrative contracts amid claims of cocaine abuse.

Since the revelations, Moss has been visiting a drug rehabilitation center in Arizona.

She has also been working on a number of international assignments - including one for Virgin's mobile phone service.
