Apple's 30GB iPod has been named the best MP3 player in a poll of readers of gadget magazine T3.
The iconic device held off competition from Dell's DJ Ditty and Samsung's YP-K5 to land the prize.
Steve Jobs' Apple also scooped the best laptop award for its popular MacBook Pro.
Jason Jenkins, deputy editor of T3, said: "The poll is interesting because some of the trends where we have been thinking, 'is this really happening in the real world?', seem to be happening.
"For example, the fact that people are increasingly getting rid of their iPods and going for phones to listen to music on the move is something we have been writing about for months, but it's interesting to find out that people are actually doing it."
Microsoft's Xbox 360 won the prize for best games console, while Sony Ericsson's W810i picked up the accolade for top mobile phone.
The PDA prize went to Blackberry for its 8700G and the TomTom Go 910 was victorious in the satellite navigation category.
Other winners included the Archos AV500 for best portable video and the Zero Gravity Wall Climber for best boy's toy.
More than 5,000 readers of the popular magazine voted in the survey.
Apple's highly acclaimed iPod family currently holds about 75 per cent of the US digital music player market, according to figures from market research firm NPD Group.
The US computer giant sold just over 8.1 million iPods during the third quarter of 2006, a year-on-year rise of 32 per cent.
