With Red Sea resort city Hurghada playing host to several new international nightclubs, Egypt is in a prime position to take the existing global club scene to new heights as an up-and-coming beach party destination.

In the latest of many developments on Egypt's nightclub front, world-renowned dance music label and club brand Hed Kandi launched its first club in the world in Hurghada on March 31.

The opening party hosted more than 1,200 international visitors and Egyptians, with UK DJs spinning their sounds while British Kandi girls served champagne at the door.

Hed Kandi Beach Bar has an enviable location on the beautiful beachfront in downtown Hurghada. Patrons can get an amazing round-the-clock experience, by day chilling on the bar's private beach and then by night dancing in the indoor lounge - or under the stars!

Hed Kandi Beach Bar continues the tradition of award-winning décor for which the brand has become famous since its launch in 1999. The Hed Kandi club brand has released over 65 albums, numerous UK top ten singles, and other artist projects.

Internationally acclaimed, the Kandi Club tour has travelled around the globe entertaining party-goers world wide.

The Hurghada party scene has been quickly assembling an international clubbing presence in recent years, with one landmark being the December 2005 opening of the Ministry of Sound The Beach club.

Club franchise and dance music label Ministry of Sound, established in London in 1991, is one of the world's most famous names in cutting-edge nightlife, with clubs as far flung as New Delhi and Singapore, in addition to its London mainstay.

Since opening at its seaside Hurghada location, The Beach has been catering to dance-oriented guests with world-class theme parties, weekly party schedules, and international DJs flying in to light up Hurghada's nights.
