During the course of a year, the historic Scandinavian country of Sweden has all sorts of events and happenings.

Below is a list of selected major events taking place in Sweden in the second half of 2007.

Fjällräven Classic

Stockholm International Film Festival
Stockholm's 17th International Film Festival is one of the best in Northern Europe.

Stockholm International Horse Show
The 16th Stockholm International Horse Show featuring all things equestrian. It is the biggest indoor equestrian event in the world in terms of spectators per day.

Nobeldagen
The Nobel Prize Awards are presented by HM the King at a formal ceremony in Stockholm Concert Hall. By special invitation only. Banquet at Stockholm City Hall.

New Year's Eve at Skansen
The celebration includes songs, fireworks and the traditional reading of Tennyson's "The Bells" at midnight.
