18th July 2007

A top Berkshire nightclub will re-launch later this month following a major refurbishment.

Liquid nightclub in Newbury has received a £500,000 makeover which includes new flooring, modern décor and state of the art sound and lighting.

The two-room venue, which has remained open during the facelift, will re-launch on Thursday 26 July.

Liquid will play a mixture of chart, funky house, indie, rock, cheese and RnB music on Thursday and Friday nights.

General manager Hayden Gowan said: "Liquid is one of Berkshire's most popular late night venues, however this investment will revolutionise the traditional night out.

"The new look venue along with its unrivalled line up of top DJs and entertainment will provide the ultimate clubbing experience Berkshire has to offer."
