Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) returns to The NEC Arena to play host to the finals of the most highly regarded showing and show jumping championships.
HOYS 2007 will offer an impressive line-up of international show jumping classes, five of which offer world ranking points, while also holding class favourites such as the famous Puissance and the Horse & Hound Foxhunter Championship.
Visitors can expect to see a variety of championship showing classes, from the HOYS Miniature Horse of the Year Championship to the Cuddy Supreme In Hand Championship.
The competitions take place across the country with contestants vying to win a coveted place in the showing championships at HOYS and culminating in the Supreme Pony of the Year and Horse Deals Supreme Horse of the Year titles.
As always, HOYS presents a majestic line-up of entertainment to complement top show jumping action and showing championships and this year's is sure to thrill audiences once again.
Highlights for 2007 include:
The Metropolitan Police Activity Ride presented by Equimax - the high-speed sensation returns to HOYS with and electrifying display of skill and agility.
Joel Chacon - French equestrian comedian Joel Chacon, with his hilarious impersonation of comic legend Charlie Chaplin, brings a unique routine to this year's show.
Friesian Horses - for the first time ever in the UK, professional Dutch dressage riders will perform their display in a unique quadrille featuring beautiful Friesian horses.
The 2007 show also welcomes the Pony Club Mounted Games teams as they compete for the celebrated Prince Philip Cup, sponsored by Farmers Guardian, as well as Osborne Refrigerators Scurry Driving.
Away from the action of the arenas is a shopper's paradise. The Retail Village houses more than 250 retail outlets that sell everything from tack to toys and jewellery to jodhpurs, and offers rider signings and celebrity interviews on the HOYS stage.
Next door, visitors will have the opportunity to come face to face with a variety of different breeds in the Interactive Feature Area whilst the HOYS Pavilion, sponsored by My Horse and Me, house a whole multitude of additional attractions.
