Tarraleah Lodge offers luxurious accomodation

20th July 2007

For the third time in three years a Tasmanian property has been named in a highly respected international hot list.

Tarraleah Lodge has been rated as one of the best 50 new hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveller UK.

From the publishers of Vogue, GQ and Tatler, Conde Nast Traveller is one of the world’s most prestigious travel magazines.

"We are thrilled to be on the Hot List 2007," said general manager Niall Mitchell.

He added: "This is as much about how we care for our guests as it is about our stunning location and fit out.

"The magic that Executive Chef Will Godman weaves at the Wildside restaurant has been recognised and our wilderness guides, waterfall walks, hill top hot tub, spectacular wine list and over 100 malt whiskies also help."

One of only two hotels in Australia and New Zealand to be named on the list, Tarraleah Lodge opened at the end of 2006 and is the centrepiece of the transformed Tarraleah Estate.

Last December, Tarraleah Lodge was named as one of the world's 20 best fishing Lodges by Australian magazine Luxury Travel.

Lodge rooms feature decadent spa bathrooms, gloriously indulgent bedrooms and a spectacular hill top hot tub.

There is an enormous range of guest activities, including golf, spa treatments, wilderness adventure and fly fishing.

All bookings include fine dining at the Wildside restaurant.
